Job Title: Retail Store Associate
Location: Killeen, Texas
Trademark Sports Cards & Memorabilia is seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Retail Store Associate to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with unique sports memorabilia, meet new people, and be part of a company that's making a name for itself in the world of sports collectibles.
Responsibilities:
- Project manage collectibles with meticulous attention to detail
- Catalogue incoming trading cards with comprehensive and accurate descriptions
- Sell sports memorabilia to clients via telephone, email, in-person interactions, and at events
- Create, manage, and participate in events aimed at client development and entertainment
- Develop marketing content, including tailored offers and content for email, website, and social media campaigns
- Inspect memorabilia both at our store and on-site at client premises as needed
- Maintain accurate records of store inventory
- Provide exceptional customer service to all clients
- Engage with customers via livestream, showcasing sports cards and collaborating with the marketing team to grow the live audience
- Research market trends to inform customers and make profitable decisions
- Engage with customers on the store floor, assisting them in locating products and addressing their inquiries
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Some college coursework in business or related fields preferred
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Email, Chat Communications, and Point-of-Sale software
- Ability to type at least 20 words per minute with high accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and ability to make independent commercial decisions
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of sports (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, MLS, etc.) and/or Trading Card Games (Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Magic the Gathering, etc.) required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Deep understanding of sports and trading card games preferred
- Experience working in retail or sales environment
- Bilingual or fluency in another language is a plus
- Experience working with high net worth or ultra-high net worth individuals
