Job Title: Consignment & eBay Sales Associate
Location: Killeen, Texas
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Consignment & eBay Sales Associate to join our team at Trademark Sports Cards & Memorabilia in Killeen, Texas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for processing, listing, and completing consignment jobs, while providing exceptional customer service to our consignors and eBay buyers. Responsibilities:
- Process and list consignments on eBay, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Utilize computer software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and the eBay seller interface
- Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail when completing tasks
- Respond promptly and professionally to eBay messages from buyers
- Package and ship purchased consignments in a timely manner
- Assist with inventory management and organization of consignments
- Provide exceptional customer service to both consignors and eBay buyers
- Work closely with retail store associates on the floor when there are no consignments to be processed
- Identify opportunities to improve business operations and recommend changes or modifications to streamline processes and increase efficiency
- Maintain a thorough understanding of eBay sales techniques and best practices
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in business or related field preferred
- Strong understanding of computers, printers, scanners, and software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and the eBay seller interface
- Ability to type at least 40 words per minute with high accuracy
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Knowledge of major sports (NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, MLS) is required; experience working with sports memorabilia is a plus
- Previous Point-of-Sale experience is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual or willingness to learn Spanish language skills
- Willingness to travel as needed for business purposes
- Experience working in the collectibles industry or a related field
